The Very Basic Human Right.

"All fingers are not alike. If you cut bigger ones to make all equal it is communism. If you stretch smaller ones to make all equal it is socialism. If you do nothing to make all equal it is capitalism." -- B. J. Gupta

I found this quote on the Internet and found the meaning behind it to be very interesting. Frank Zappa once said: "Communism doesn't work because people like to own stuff." That is a simple illustration of how unfair a communist form of government can be. How can each individual, each citizen, be of equal status? Unfortunately, man by nature are selfish in certain ways, and will tend to get jealous of others who are more capable, have a greater amount of assets etc. than him. Communism is unjustifiable treatment of people. How can a communist state of government work? It is not possible for there would be no human rights, no freewill, a lot of suppression and total unrest amongst the countrymen.

And because of these valid and crucial reasons, we must not let China secretly control Asia. Statements made by its government such as urging the Asian countries to invest in China to boost economic growth for everyone are deceiving excuses created by a promising facade.

The USA intervened in Iraq, but honestly, what do they stand to gain? Perhaps you might think they have a hidden agenda but has the USA done anything without unrefuted reasons to safeguard international interests? The government has never failed to extend its arm in friendship and would always assist in any way possible whenever a crisis strikes other nations. They are the guardian and founder of the free world, they gave people human and moral rights and no other nation would risk their troops and put them on the line to defend the very basic human right and freewill to exist. Communism steals that away from each person, and living in a communist country or being influenced greatly by a communist nation will be like unwilling but helpless puppets controlled by dictatorship.

Please think about your freedom and justice, and that of your nation. Don't support China.

How I see it.

"Ignorance breeds monsters to fill up the vacancies of the soul that are unoccupied by the verities of knowledge." -- Horace Mann

James, read the damn papers (be wary as the State runs them) and develop your own opinion. It is one thing to be apathetic and another thing to be purposely apathetic. For the latter is a fool and must be avoided like a plague. A man that does not wish to learn only stagnates and becomes a burden to society.

I do not claim to be an expert on military, political or strategic affairs. I state what I have seen and can see. I give my support to the nation that is the leader of the Free World. I cannot support a nation that resembles so much the former Soviet Union when it crushes popular movement, controls thought and instills a form of harmful nationalism into its populace.

Yes, China has done great things for the economies of Asian nations, which is why they choose to overlook the obvious. What China is now, is what China is in the past. They are merely bidding their time, waiting in the shadows. For it is the way of the Chinese to let 2 tigers fight and when one has perished, to slay the other. A nation that believes it must take its place in history once again.

If history is anything to go by, I don't feel too good about that proposition. Didn't Nazi Germany rise to power under a wave of narrow nationalism? The Muslim extremists who wish to create a Pan-Islamic state also believe that they must restore Muslims to their rightful place in the world. Where does that leave us? We have the borderless terrorists and the hidden dragon. Both who are willing to subvert and subjugate without regard for the common man.

I believe that the dragon is more dangerous than the terrorists. They dangle economic goods, but seek to dominate Asia. Like in the former Soviet Union, foreigners are allowed only to see what the Politburo wants them to see. What of human rights abuse? Look at the plight of the Tibetians. The recent protest by Tibetians at the Olympic Games in Athens only highlights the flagrant disregard China has for freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Ethnic muslims are marginalized in China's western provinces, the excuse being that China does so because it supports the US war on terror. The ethnic Muslims have not harmed China overtly in any case. Don't even remind me of what happened in Tiananmen Square. Even Deng Xiaoping mentioned that, "If I have to shoot 200,000 students to save China from another 100 years of disorder, so be it."

I shall sign off. There is much to say though, but I shall leave it at this. Comments are welcome, but please don't sugar coat support for China and its communists ideals. I know what the Soviet Union would have done to Western Europe if the US had not stood in its way. I know what will become of Taiwan if the US does not stand against China.

THE FIRST OFFICIAL MESSAGE.

Due to our (Qibin and I) overwhelming concern over China's great desire to overtake the USA as the ruling super power of the world, we decided to set up this blog for all who are not in favor of this preventable disaster from taking place in the future.

As seen during the recent Athens Olympics, China has shown its strength in the sporting arena, and will undoubtedly, want to be the overall leader in the next Olympic Games. The USA has always dominated the Olympics by winning the most medals but this time round, due to bad luck and a lack of determination, the USA was not able to showcase its might in the games (although it did get the most number of medals overall). We all know that the next Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, and without fail, China will pump all its money and fully utilize all its resources to train their athletes to win as many gold medals as possible. And if they truly become the nation which accumulates the most number of medals, we can say good bye to democracy and a free world.

We have to question ourselves, does China consider themselves as part of Asia? At first thought, you might say "definitely, because they are yellow-skinned" but think again folks. They DO NOT care at all. If they had a chance to rule Asia, they gladly will, and they will rule us like a nationalistic country. They do not care about democracy or human rights. All they care about is their own arrogance and pride. Does the government give a damn about the welfare of their athletes? No, they care only for the pride of the nation, and they would do anything just to show off. Such arrogance must not be tolerated.

People complain about the Iraq war, and they blame the USA for interferring. But when they withdraw their troops, people complain too. Absolute nonsense. Even if you are against the war, think of the USA as the lesser of the two evils. China's military strength is about a zillion times worse compared to the USA. Who would you trust more? Who would you place your national interest in? Who would you trust to safeguard your country? Even if China's military might is almost as good as the USA's, do you think they give one hoot about your national interest? No they do not. Whatever they do, they do it only for themselves.

I shall end here for now. Perhaps qb can elaborate more (he is more knowledgable in such matters anyway) in his first post for this blog.

PS: Please feel free to contribute.

Cheers,
Tingchu
